Monastic Brewing

I have been down and out with a cold this week, thus the slow blogging. In lieu of any strong written content, let me offer you some nice audio material Patrick and I have put together on the Beervana Podcast. This is the first of a two-parter on monastic brewing. Today we delve into the history and great expanse worldwide, and in the next episode we will have a conversation with Father Martin, who helped launch the latest monastery brewery, Benedictine Brewery in Mt Angel Oregon. This is one of those nice, full-contact treatments of the subject (we drank beer from three monasteries), and I think you’ll enjoy it.

Have a good weekend, you all—
